Terms of service

Draft, pending legal review. This agreement is a working draft written for the beta. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer, and the highlighted items are company details that have not been confirmed yet. It will change before the app launches publicly.

1. Who these terms are with

2. Your account

  • You must be 18 or older. Accounts are for parents, legal guardians, coaches and clubs.
  • An account is needed to use the app. One account works on the website and in the app.
  • Keep access to your email and sign-in provider secure; activity on your account is your responsibility.
  • You can delete your account at any time from your account page.

3. Beta

The app is in beta. Features may change, break or be removed, and clips may be lost. Keep copies of anything you can't afford to lose.

4. Credits

  • Credits pay for cloud work. Today a cloud render costs 1 credit and Pro Zoom costs 5 credits. We will show the cost before you spend credits.
  • A new account receives 25 free credits once. They do not expire.
  • Credits added by a subscription roll over from month to month with no cap.
  • If you cancel a subscription, you keep every unused credit and can keep using them.
  • Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and are not refundable except where the law requires.
  • If you delete your account, its credits are deleted with it.

5. Subscriptions

The Base plan costs $9.95 per month (USD) and adds 25 credits each month. Subscriptions will be sold and billed through Google Play and renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time in Google Play; the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. Refunds follow Google Play's policies. We will give notice before changing a price.

6. Filming at games

  • Only record where you are allowed to. Follow the rules of the venue, league, school and team.
  • Respect other families. Do not use StandoutReelz to harass, embarrass or track anyone.
  • Do not upload anything unlawful, or anything sexualising or exploiting a minor. We will remove it, close the account and report it where the law requires.

7. Your videos

You own your recordings and highlights. You give us permission to store, process and deliver them only as needed to run the service for you. We do not claim ownership and do not use them for advertising.

8. AI features

Auto framing suggests where a highlight should start, stop and point; you can always change it. Pro Zoom uses AI upscaling, which invents detail the camera did not capture and can soften or alter small details such as jersey numbers. Check AI-enhanced clips before relying on them, for example in a recruiting reel. Player identification uses jersey colour, number and approximate size only. It does not use face recognition.

9. Acceptable use of the service

Don't attempt to break, overload, reverse engineer or get around limits of the service, or use it to build a competing product.

10. Ending things

You can stop using StandoutReelz and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
